  • What is Software Pay's refund policy?

The majority of the software we sell is distributed on a try-before-you-buy basis. This virtually eliminates all situations where a refund is requested, since the opportunity to thoroughly evaluate a product is made before the product is purchased. We strongly encourage you to try the software before you buy it.
If you purchase a product you have tried and have discovered problems, please contact the developer or technical support first. In most cases, a solution is available, and our experience shows that software developers are eager to help you solve any problems you might have. In the unlikely event you purchase a product that you tried prior to purchasing, and have been in contact with the developer of the software to attempt a resolution, we do offer a 30 day refund policy. The 30 day period begins from the date of the purchase and runs 30 consecutive days, including weekends and holidays.
We offer the same refund policy on software that is not available on a try-before-you-buy basis, however we still ask that you contact the software developer with any issues prior to requesting a refund.
So to recap: After purchasing, if you have any problems you should always first attempt to resolve them with the developer. If within 30 days of purchase you are not able to solve any post-sale issues, contact us and we will gladly assist you.

Usually you do not need to change anything since Software Pay works with default settings of PayPal accounts.
We recommend you to check the Block Non-encrypted Website Payment option and ensure it is off.

  • Can I accept credit cards selling with Software Pay?

Yes, you can accept credit cards with your PayPal account.

  • Can I have a trial period before I decide to pay for Software Pay service?

We offer a 30-day free trial period. You can sign up and trial our system now. The only difference between a trial vendor account and a paid vendor account is, as a trial vendor, you can not use our affiliate network.

  • What fees does Software Pay charge?

We charge a flat monthly fee only. No commissions, no setup fee, no bandwidth fee.

  • How long will it take to setup my account?

  • How do I customize my shopping cart pages?

You can create a style for your shopping cart, input your own HTML codes and simply place a tag in the HTML codes where you would like to display the order form. All the image files and resource files you need for the style should be uploaded to our server as well, so you can use them even if you do not have a SSL on your website or blog.

  • How do my customers use discount offers?

Bundle discount offers and volume discount offers are automatically applied to items put in shopping cart by customers according to items and quantities in the cart.
To apply a coupon discount offer, you can offer customers an order link with the coupon ID or allow customers to input the coupon ID in the shopping cart.

  • Can Software Pay post real-time order data to another system?

Yes, you can set up a remote URL for each product and parameters which are posted to the URL. Once an order is completed, the system posts the order data to the URL. The response from the URL is taken as the code for product and delivered to customer.

  • Can I export my order data?

Yes, you can export your order data as CSV files.
